Sippy cup

Jazmin has been trying out the sippy cup the last few days, and is starting to understand how it works. The one we've got isn't very good though, so I'll be buying a new one tomorrow. It's a bit messy trying her with it and lots of times she'd rather play with it, but I guess that's just part and parcel. She ate baby cereal and banana for breakfast, and I think I've figured out that 2 cubes worth of food is enough, and 3 cubes makes her puke!

We had a massive hailstorm here last night, the hail was sitting on the grass, and although the stones weren't huge, I would've hated to have been out in it.

I had to go and pick up a parcel from Budgewoi post office yesterday and the wind brought with it a downpour - so Jazmin experienced being rained on for the first time in her life! I don't think she likes it any more than I do.

Gotta do the grocery shopping tomorrow, and that's always so much fun trying to fit everything into the trolley with the nappy bag in it and the infant seat on top. I usually shop at Coles and then put the non-perishables in the car then go back and do the Aldi shopping, and even then it's a challenge - but it's good because it takes most of the day and gets me out of the house for a bit.

Got the last week of the baby group at the community health centre this Friday.

What fun Jaz is getting used to a cup!! It usually takes while for them to realise how much easier the cup is to use. Glad she likes the healthy food and that you are working out how much she needs and not overloading her tummy with excess. Shopping with kids makes you appreciate how easy it is when they grow up.. Hang in there Luvyas Nan
