Still not done unpacking
It sure takes a while!
John & Leah kindly gave us their old sofa and armchairs. I went to Spotlight and bought a new upholstery fabric and a glue gun, and have re-upholstered all of the sofa except the seat cushions, which I have covered with some of our curtains - our new place has blinds so the curtains are being put to good use, and we have other curtains over the armchairs, I think they look pretty good.
On Tuesday I went to my first guitar lesson - looks like it will be good, I am only intending to go for one term at this stage. There was a lady doing another course called "Jazmin" spelled the same way, - a great ice-breaker. Justin had an appointment in Toowong, near the city. I went with him, it's a nice place.
Last night we stayed at Jono & Emma's we're still looking after their animals, till Emma gets back on Saturday.
I am going to get the results for my natural therapy assignment tonight, the redirection has kicked in and I'll have to go and pick it up from John & Leah's. I have got 2 A's and a B so far.
My grandparents are coming up tomorrow, it's grandad's birthday so it's a good excuse to have them over.
We're going to get around to having a house-warming party sometime in the next two weeks, but North Oaks ecclesia is pretty busy, so it might have to be a weeknight. That can be an advantage though, means it shouldn't drag on too long...we'll see.

Hi it's Lal Tapp,tops being able to read what ur up to.Glad u seem to have settled in so well,and seeing all the family u have scattered around up there.Hows the weather,it's raining down here which i guess is good.Lukes in China at the moment home tommorow,can't wait,need to go out without kids going a little bonkers.Kept busy tho painted Shiloh's room red!her choice.Give Jaz a kiss from Shiloh

So glad the animal care is over and you can complete your own settling -in. It will be fun to have the folks over when you get a space, all are busy but it is good to be able to chill together now the main move is over. Your loungecover work sounds excellent and good on the budget which all helps. Happy Birthday to your Grandad, hope you all have a great day together..Love and hugs Mum/Nan
