Spitting Chips

Since this is my blog I and I can say whatever I want, I'me just gunna say it.
DoCS is STUPID!!!! That's the Department of Children's Services for those that don't know. Earlier this week I was on their website checking out the requirements to become a foster parent. I met a significant amount of the criteria, but Jazmin is too young (youngest child has to be at least 2) and I am WAY too young. Both applicants have a certain age. Anyway, my issue is that I saw on TV on Tuesday night a thing from DoCS saying that they have a dire shortage of foster carers!! I think they should look at each prospective foster parent's situation and they might find a lot more! Of course there should be basic criteria, like having no criminal record, but it just seems nuts that they have things that don't really matter like age, and scream on TV that there's no-one to look after these poor kids that can't live with their parents.

Last night there was yelling, shouting and shoving for a good couple of hours at the house across the road from us. From about 11pm - 1am I was trying to get to sleep and felt like doing some shouting myself: to tell them to SHUT UP!!!

Jaz has been a grump a bit today, she doesn't want to go to sleep, but she doesn't seem to want to stay up either!

Managed to get the stuff on the line dry and brought in. Nice to finally have some clothes in our drawers!

Fairly busy day today, been doing lots of housework and looking after Jazmin can be a big job sometimes!
