New Link

The latest link I have added is "Miss Manners". Posted regularly on different websites and several different newspapers. I have been reading it for years and have found the most reliable site to be the Washington Post. Always a good read.

Sunday

Justin caught up with Dr Phil this morning - some people sure are in a pickle. Margy and Olly came round for a BBQ dinner, but I don't think Olly was feeling very well, poor thing. Didn't do much today, but feel better for it. Got the CT Scan for my sinuses on Saturday, so hopefully can see about getting the corrective surgery on them asap, it's driving me crazy.

Yawn

I went down to the Gold Coast yesterday, and then we went to Jono & Emma's for dinner. The two toddlers did NOT want to go to sleep! Once they finally dropped off, we stayed till about midnight!! Anyway we had a good night.

Sleepy Jazmin

We went to the indoor play centre yesterday ...Jaz was so tired I put her to bed for a nap at 6 and she didnt wake up till this morning! Had a good afternoon shopping with Emma after lunch - I made bread in my breadmaker and it turned out really well. Nothing like hot fresh bread. Looking after Jamin and Alanah this afternooon. Having a few problems with out TV - it turns itself off sometimes - a bit spooky and it's not Halloween yet! ;)

23 years and 4 months yesterday

Since no-one ever asks how old I am (just kidding!) Jazmin will be 17 months next week :) ON Friday I met my mum and Ken at the Mater Hospital (Ken had an appointment) Then we went shopping at the Hyperdome at Logan. Justin met us there and we had tea with Gideon (& co) at Sizzler. We finally got round to unpacking and putting up our outdoor setting on Saturday and then on Sunday we went and spent the morning with Grant (Justin's uncle) at South Bank as he was on a stopover in Brisbane. We went to Sizzler for lunch with him and John & Leah and kids, so been eating a lot of Sizzler!!! Yesterday I went down to work with Justin - he dropped me off at Westfields Garden City on his way then picked me up on his way to an appointment and dropped me off at another shopping centre :) Was pretty good. We had Ravioli Carbonara for lunch at Fasta Pasta - very nice. Justin went on to his appointment and I went with Jaz to see "The Devil Wears Prada" She was very good and hardly made any noise at all! It was great to be able to go to the movies again! I thought it was ok - kind of a re-hash of Miss Congeniality. Emma is coming over this morning with the kids.

Quiet day at home

And about time too. Looked after Jamin & Alanah for a bit this afternoon :) The helped me unpack some of the chairs for our new outdoor setting. Jaz fell over and grazed her nose and lip. Justin is in Sydney for work.

Here's some more pics from our holiday. I have also started scrapbooking the pics from Ken's birthday party. We bought a printer that can print ok photos, so I can do them at home.

Anyone who has read Harry Potter will understand why this is so funny. BTW it is an awesome resort in Hervey Bay.

Back from holidays

We had an awesome time away, and will probably put some links to places we stayed and pictures up soon, probably tonight or tomorrow. We stayed at Maroochydore for 3 nights, then went to Hervey Bay, then Rockhampton and then Bundaberg (that rum is good, more about that later) and home tonight. Jazmin was an angel most of the time and did very well with the travelling. In Maryborough we bought Jazmin a booster seat, as she is getting too big for the other car seat. She has discovered that there is more freedom with the seatbelt and we had to remind (threaten) her a number of times that if she didn't sit on her bottom than she would have to go back into her "baby" seat. She likes being a big girl, so this is working quite well!

Hot on the Coast

Down on the Gold Coast today, quite toasty warm.

Went shopping at Harbour Town and going out for dinner to the club with Grandad & Grandma.

Justin has to fly down to Melbourne tomorrow - coming back Wednesday night.

My brother James is coming up to stay for a while, we're going to pick him up after he finishes his shift at Maccas.

Not much else doing!
